Our 30 minute complimentary consultation appointment is designed to provide adequate time to detail the informational aspects of the permanent makeup process or para-medical tattooing before procedure appointment. Consultations are generally 30 minutes and informational only. A free consultation for permanent makeup does not include any makeup designing*. More than one person may attend a consultation at no additional charge, so feel free to bring a friend! If you must reschedule a consultation, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice.
Permanent Makeup Fees
The fees for your permanent makeup cover the design process, complete review of medical history, topical anesthetic, equipment with all disposable, sterile needles and supplies, skin analysis, color selection and custom blending of the selected colors, technicians expertise, complete after-care kit.
Before your appointment
If you have any condition that you are under on-going medical care for, you must disclose this before scheduling an appointment so we can evaluate your situation and determine if you are a candidate for the process. Pregnant or anyone under the age of 18 will not be considered as a candidate for permanent makeup.
Please refrain from the use of Advil (Ibuprofen), Aleve, Aspirin, aspirin-containing medications, Coumadinor, or other prescription medications that promote thinning of the blood for 7 days before and 2 days after any procedure. NO MEDICATION SHOULD BE DISCONTINUED WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING YOUR PHYSICIAN. We do not want to encourage any unnecessary bleeding. Alcohol constitutes a blood-thinner so refrain from drinking alcohol within the 48 hours leading up to your appointment.
If you are having lip procedures and have any history of cold sores/fever blisters/herpes simplex, you will be required to contact your physician to obtain the proper prescription medication to prevent such outbreaks. You must start taking this medicine 2 days prior to your procedure and a few days after treatment.
For tatooing eyebrows and eyeliner, do not have any eyelash or eyebrow tinting, or eyelash curling/perming within 48 hours of your procedure. Any tweezing or waxing should be done at least 48 hours prior to the procedure.
If you are pre-menstrual or menstruating you will be more pain sensitive. Every effort is made during your procedure to make you comfortable with the use of topical anesthetics. Try to plan your procedure so it does not fall at this point of your monthly cycle.
Appointment booking and canceling is important, so please plan appropriately. We provide individual appointments with adequate time for personalized service and attention to detail. Every customer is asked to pay deposit of 50€ prior to procedure. Deposit can be paid by cash, PayPal, credit/debit card or bank transfer. Unlike doctors who schedule 5 patients at a time in different rooms, or long waiting room times, we run on schedule and see one client at a time. You are given exclusive time for your quality service. If you must cancel or reschedule please do so at least 48 hours in advance.
Day of your appointment
Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following the eyeliner procedure. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pre-tattooed condition which is usually in two days. You may want to have someone drive you to and from your appointment.
Wear your normal makeup and bring your eyeliner, lip or brow pencils to the office on the day of the procedure.
In some cases there may be swelling and or redness. Keep all treated areas clean and moist. Do not pick, scratch, or rub while the area is healing. Loss of color and/or infection may result. Within 5-9 days the pigmented area will fade approximately 30-50%. Do not use skin care preparations other than the one discused with perm make-up artist always using a clean cotton swab. Do not use other “home remedies” during this time. Avoid sun tanning or long periods of direct sunlight exposure for 10 to 14 days. Stay out of hot tubs and refrain from swimming for 7 to 10 days. Normal activities may be resumed immediately after your procedure.
Long-Term After Care Weeks
To minimize color loss, apply a 30+ sun block (the stronger the better) prior to exposure to the sun or any UV light. If you are planning a chemical peel, Laser, MRI or other medical procedure, please inform your physician of your cosmetic tattoo. Be aware that lasers are damaging to all cosmetic tattooing pigments.
Cosmetic Tattooing requires maintenance as all color fades. The amount of fading depends on several variables including medications and topical treatments, but is primarily due to sun (ultra-violet) exposure; therefore a color assessment appointment can be scheduled at the end of the first year. If a Touch-Up is needed, the charge will be as follows:
0-6 months – 50€
6-18 months – half price from current price list
over 18 months – full price
Clients with previous permanent makeup performed by another technician will be charged the full price regardless of the procedure.
